SM Hydro
The SM Hydro power plant was a green field project constructed to produce hydro
electric power on River Muyembe in Eastern Uganda with an installed capacity of
6.9MW and an estimated 29.2GWH annual production. The plant was awarded a permit
in 2010 by the Electricity Regulatory Authority to supply the national grid through a
38km transmission line to the substation in Mbale operated by the Uganda Electricity
Transmission Company Ltd. Investing in the energy sector is part of Sarrai Group’s
commitment to providing clean renewable energy solutions that are aimed at driving
economic growth within the region.
Ndovu Motors
Ndovu Motors is the authorized dealer and distributor for Mahindra
& Mahindra motor vehicles in Uganda. The Mahindra vehicles retailer
through the company include commercial pick up trucks, tractors and
implements as well as utility vehicles and construction equipment.
The Mahindra vehicle brands offer affordable but durable vehicles
suited for the African terrain.
